This fall had fallouts in early and mid September,
otherwise migration was 'trickle through', the birds apparantly
overpassing the Sourlands to go directly to Cape May. However the
diversity of species was high. Food resources were restricted because
drought preempted fruit and grass seed development, though insects were
plentiful. Highlights were:
